Lumd collects nothing.

No analytics. No tracking. No account. Your documents never leave your Mac. That isn't a setting; it's how Lumd is built.

The app

Lumd has no analytics, no crash reporter and no advertising code. It does not know who you are, what you read, or how often you open it.

  • Your documents are read from your disk and rendered on your Mac. They are never uploaded anywhere.
  • Your license key is verified on your Mac. Lumd never phones home to check it.
  • Updates: Lumd checks lumd.ai/appcast.xml for new versions, like any Mac app that updates itself. That request carries your app version and the usual information any web request does (such as your IP address), and nothing that identifies you or your files.
  • Images on the web: if a document links to an image on another site, Lumd asks before loading it. If you allow it, your Mac fetches that image from that site.

Buying Lumd Pro

When you buy Lumd Pro, we need just enough to deliver and look after your license:

  • Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your card number.
  • We keep your email address and license key so we can send it to you and re-send it if you lose it.
  • If you tick the box at checkout to hear about Lumd news, we record that choice. Untick it and we'll never email you except about your purchase.
  • Resend delivers the license email for us.

We don't sell or share your information with anyone else, and we don't use it for advertising.

This website

lumd.ai is hosted on Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no ad trackers. If we measure visits, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without identifying you. We also count clicks on the download, buy and "Send my key" buttons; each click records only which button it was, not who clicked. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the email and license we hold for you, or to stop announcement emails, write to support@lumd.ai. Deleting your record means we can't re-send your key, but a key you already have keeps working.
