Terms of use
The license agreement for the Lumd app and Lumd Pro, written to be read.
1. Who this agreement is with
Lumd is made by textPlus, Inc. (“we”). By installing or using Lumd you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Lumd.
2. Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Lumd on Macs you own or control. The free version may be used by anyone, at home or at work, at no cost.
A Lumd Pro license unlocks the Pro features for one person on up to 3 Macs. It is a one-time purchase that doesn't expire. It includes updates to the version you bought and future updates we release for it; a future paid upgrade, if there ever is one, would be optional.
3. What you may not do
- Share, sell or publish your license key, or use someone else's.
- Remove or work around the license check or the free-version limits.
- Reverse engineer or modify Lumd, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
- Redistribute Lumd except by linking to lumd.ai.
4. Your content
Your documents are yours. Lumd reads them on your Mac and claims no rights in them. Exports from the free version carry a small “Made with Lumd” mark; Pro exports don't.
5. Payment and refunds
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices include or exclude tax as shown at checkout. If Lumd Pro isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of buying for a full refund, no questions asked. After a refund the license key stops being valid in a future Lumd update.
6. Ownership
Lumd, its themes and its name belong to textPlus, Inc. This license gives you the right to use Lumd, not ownership of it.
7. No warranty
We work hard to make Lumd reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep backups of documents that matter.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Lumd Pro.
9. Ending this agreement
You can stop using Lumd at any time. If you break these terms, your license ends and you must stop using Lumd Pro.
10. Changes and law
If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
