How do I activate Lumd Pro?
- Don't have Lumd yet? Download it, open the disk image and drag Lumd into Applications.
- Open Lumd. In the menu bar, choose Help → Lumd Pro…
- Click Already have a key? Enter it, paste your key and click Activate.
The key is checked on your Mac, with no account and no internet connection needed. It works again after a reinstall: just paste it in the same way.
I lost my license key.
Get it emailed again to the address you bought with.
What does Lumd Pro cost? Is it a subscription?
No subscription. Lumd Pro is a one-time purchase of $24, or $19 at the launch price: use code LAUNCH19 at checkout (through Dec 9). Try every Pro feature free for 14 days, whenever you're ready. The free version keeps working either way.
Does Lumd need an account or an internet connection?
No. Your key is checked on your Mac, so Pro works offline and on a plane. There's no account to create.
Devices
How many Macs can I use my license on?
Up to 3 Macs that you use yourself. Paste the same key on each one. It's on the honor system: Lumd doesn't count activations, so there's nothing to deactivate or reset.
I got a new Mac or reinstalled macOS.
Install Lumd and paste your key again. Nothing to deactivate first.
Refunds
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Within 14 days of buying, email support@lumd.ai from the address you bought with and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe and usually show up within 5–10 business days. The free version keeps working after a refund.
Installing
Which Macs does Lumd run on?
Any Mac, Apple Silicon or Intel, running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
macOS says Lumd can't be opened, or asks if I'm sure.
Lumd is signed and notarized by Apple under textPlus, Inc., so macOS normally just asks once whether you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. Click Open.
If macOS blocks it instead, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the message about Lumd and click Open Anyway. If that doesn't help, download Lumd again from lumd.ai — never from another site — and write to us if it still won't open.
How do I update Lumd?
Lumd checks for updates itself. To check now, choose Lumd → Check for Updates… See what changed in the changelog.
